Mark Norbury has been named as one of the UK’s leading new chief executives in the big Third Sector Excellence Awards.

The shortlist was announced this week and pays tribute to Mark leading a major change at UnLtd while refocusing the organisation on its purpose, people and partnerships. The award entry also highlights Mark’s introduction of UnLtd’s values, building a new exec team and board, and incorporating more social entrepreneurs with lived experience into the work we do.

Winners will be announced at the big Third Sector Awards event in London on Thursday September 20th. This will bring together some of the biggest names in the sector and celebrates the most transformational work being done by charities around the country

Nicholas Farhi, UnLtd’s Chair of the Board of Trustees, said: ""At UnLtd, we want enterprising people to transform our world for good. Social leadership – by entrepreneurs and from support organisations like UnLtd – is critical to make this happen.  I am delighted to see this being role-modelled by Mark, whose focus and collaborative approach have put UnLtd, our partners and most importantly social entrepreneurs in a strong position to create a big impact. His leadership means more social entrepreneurs will be able to change our society for the better.”
