UnLtd is one of more than 30 projects partnering to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders, thanks to a new initiative launched today by Big Lottery Fund and led by the Wildlife Trust.

Our Bright Future, is an exciting new initiative that aims to tackle three big challenges facing society today - a lack of social cohesion, a lack of opportunities for young people and vulnerability to climate change.
UnLtd will be working with Our Bright Future to support young people with ideas to transform unused spaces. From February next year, our Spaces for Change programme will find, fund and support young people aged 16-24 to start and run social ventures which transform unused or under-utilised local spaces to instigate lasting social and environmental impact.
Spaces 4 Change will offer awards of support and funding to 100-200 individuals and small groups over five years. As part of the programme, UnLtd will be working with civic crowdfunding platform SpaceHive to help young people harness the power of the crowd to raise extra funds to transform their local spaces. Young people will get additional guidance from an expert panel who specialise in transforming spaces, from legal to architectural.
