The Purposely online tool has been shortlisted for the Digital Agenda Impact Awards, which celebrates the very best of tech-for-good initiatives in the UK.

The shortlist was announced earlier this week and recognises Purposely, the digital tool that offers a free, user-friendly and credible way for founders to embed purpose into their company articles.

Purposely is a finalist for the ‘Business transformation’ award, which celebrates initiatives that help business, government and non-profits to become more effective and happier, healthier places to work.

Since its launch a year ago, Purposely has reached over 2.7 million people, visited by nearly 4,000 people, and had model articles downloaded by over 240 people, some of whom have already embedded purpose into their articles as a result. Purposely has also been supported in the Government’s Civil Society Strategy and received endorsements from the sector.

Winners will be announced at the Impact Awards event in London on Thursday March 7th. This will bring together some of the biggest names in the UK tech-for-good sector and celebrates the most transformational work being done by charities around the country.

Purposely was developed in partnership with law firm Bates Wells Braithwaite and backed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
